Roof Maxx grew from a widely unknown green-tech company to one of the fastest-growing names in the home services industry.

When David became involved, the company was a relatively unknown emerging concept with approximately 18 locations. In roughly two years the system grew to approximately 225 locations, achieved 89% year-over-year revenue growth, and has since accumulated more than
50,000 five-star customer reviews, and established itself as the clear national leader in an entirely new service category.
David helped shape the positioning, brand, customer strategy, growth strategy and marketing infrastructure that allowed the company to move from obscurity toward category dominance. But Roof Maxx is not an isolated story.
This engagement demanded more advisory, and consulting rather than direct AI implemenation. We were upfront about expectations and gave clear advice to executive leadership that AI was not their key constraint, and there were other ways to unlock more growth in their business outside of technology. Beyond this case study, we find this serving relevance to many businesses who feel they need technology and get emotional about their decisions due to FOMO or third-party pressure from board advisors or social media influence. This is a perfect example of how internal analysis, data recognition, and proper judgment applied in high-stakes situations can save millions of dollars in what would have been implementation fees and allow for massive ROI unlock.
The Problem: Roof Maxx had proven the concept, but scaling an unfamiliar service from ~18 locations into a national category required stronger positioning, customer strategy, and a repeatable commercial engine.
Our Approach: David helped reshape the company’s positioning and brand while building the customer strategy, growth strategy, and marketing infrastructure required to support rapid national expansion.
The Result: Roof Maxx grew from ~18 to ~225 locations in roughly two years, delivered 89% year-over-year revenue growth, and emerged as the national category leader.
